In December last year Discovery Networks sought to cancel the future royalties of media composers in the US. The Ivors Academy joined in support of US composer representatives to push back against this aggressive move and are pleased to see a reversal of this draconian strategy. But why did this happen and what does it mean for the future outlook of music rights and income? The Ivors Academy ‘Music Buyouts, Discovery Networks and Royalties’ event on 4 March will bring together leading industry players to explore what this all means.

There is step free access to the panel and the networking space using the lift facilities, a seated view of the stage for the panel is available and there is an accessible toilet in the building on floor -1. PA tickets are also available on request.
