The Future of Classical Music – Member Discussion

As part of the celebrations for The Ivors Composer Awards, The Ivors Academy would like to welcome classical composer members from all backgrounds to join a member social and discussion to share your experiences about the impact of Covid 19 and to discuss the future of the classical music sector.

The event will begin with an introduction and member networking in breakout rooms, followed by a 30 minute interview with composers James B Wilson and Ailis Ni Riain to discuss the challenges of 2020, the surprises, collaborations and the future. There will then be an opportunity for members to share their ideas and experiences with the group.

The informal event aims not only to be informative but to connect members from across the UK socially.
