Mentee applications open from Monday 8 July until Friday 2nd August, 5pm
Get expert music industry guidance from a mentor to elevate your career as a songwriter or composer. Being mentored through Co-Pilot can help:
With practical advice, encouragement and support to develop your career
Identify goals to help take the next steps in your career
Build confidence and feel empowered to make decisions
Gain insights, understanding and help identify how to develop your skills
Co-Pilot is a mentee-led mentoring network, which means that mentees submit match requests and are responsible for scheduling and the direction of the sessions. As a mentee, you will be expected to come to sessions with topics to discuss and be prepared to invest time working towards your goals.
If you don’t have an active project or area of development you are ready to work on over the coming 9 – 12 months, then we recommend waiting until the next round of applications before applying.
Free access to a one-to-one specialist music industry mentor for eight hours of online mentoring
Access to networking opportunities through regular peer-to-peer sessions
Opportunities to enhance your learning with expert practitioner webinars, plus invites to Help Musicians’ business skills workshops and Get Set Sessions
Online resources, including a digital guidebook, induction videos and signposting to further Help Musicians’ support
Ongoing support from Co-Pilot’s mentoring team
ADDED BENEFITS FOR IVORS ACADEMY MEMBERS
Additional support with your application, including exclusive access to Information Sessions where you can ask questions and get help with the application process.
Re-apply for a second round of mentoring: Mentees are usually required to wait 12 months after completing their first round, but Academy members can re-apply straight away.
