Co-Pilot is a mentee-led mentoring network, which means that mentees submit match requests and are responsible for scheduling and the direction of the sessions.
As a mentee, you will be expected to come to sessions with topics to discuss and be prepared to invest time working towards your goals.
If you don’t have an active project or area of development you are ready to work on over the coming 9 – 12 months, then we recommend waiting until the next round of applications before applying.
Applications for mentees are now open. The deadline for the next round of applications has been EXTENDED to 5pm, 24th November 2023.
Academy members will be informed through our fortnightly newsletter when future rounds of applications open.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS A MENTEE
Free access to a one-to-one specialist music industry mentor for eight hours of online mentoring
Access to networking opportunities through regular peer-to-peer sessions
Opportunities to enhance your learning with expert practitioner webinars, plus invites to Help Musicians’ business skills workshops and Get Set Sessions
Online resources, including a digital guidebook, induction videos and signposting to further Help Musicians’ support
Ongoing support from Co-Pilot’s mentoring team
Mentees are usually required to wait 12 months after completing their first round of mentoring before reapplying, but Academy members have an opportunity to reapply straight away for a second round of mentoring
