The Ivors Academy appoints Mark Taylor as Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs

Mark Taylor will join in March at a pivotal time in the Academy's transformation.

The Ivors Academy has announced that Mark Taylor will join the organisation in a newly created role as Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs. Effective from the beginning of March, Mark will be responsible for raising the public profile of the Academy, its activities and members, whilst leading an ambitious long-term strategy for growth to strengthen the voice of music creators across the UK and beyond.

Of the appointment, Mark Taylor says:

Prior to joining The Ivors Academy, Mark worked for over ten years at CILIP, the Library and Information Association. As Director of External Relations his focus was on delivering strategic communications for the chartered body to support and grow CILIP’s profile, influence and membership. More recently Mark served as Director of Internal and External Relations at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
