New Music Forum: Jazz Ensemble Call for Scores 2020

Calling all jazz composers! We are pleased to be running a public Call for Scores, forming part of two days of celebrations at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama this summer.

The Ivors Academy invites composers to submit scores as part of a celebration of new music for jazz ensemble taking place at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff on Thursday 25th & Friday 26th June. Works totaling a maximum of 90-minutes will be selected by a panel from The Ivors Academy Jazz Committee, that will form the basis of workshops, discussions and rehearsals across the two-day celebration, culminating in a performance on the evening of Friday 26th June.
