The Ivors with Amazon Music is among the most respected award ceremonies in music. Presented by The Ivors Academy, it celebrates the craft and exceptional achievements of songwriters and screen composers.
Winners receive an iconic Ivor Novello Award and join a roll call of greats, including Paul McCartney, John Lennon, David Bowie, Adele, RAYE, Stormzy, Bill Withers, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Wilson, Annie Lennox, Amy Winehouse, Dave, Sting and Joan Armatrading. Judged by songwriters and composers, for songwriters and composers, the awards recognise excellence in craft and creativity.
Nominations have been announced across seven categories, following judging by acclaimed songwriters and composers from The Ivors Academy.
The 71st Ivor Novello Awards will take place on Thursday 21 May at Grosvenor House, London. Awards will be presented to celebrate music written by British, Irish or UK resident songwriters and composers released in the UK in 2025. Gift of the Academy awards will honour songwriters whose sustained influence has shaped music and culture.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, The Ivors Academy has announced that ROSALÍA will receive the International Songwriter of the Year Award and Linda Perry the Special International Award with Amazon Music on 21 May.
