Soundboard (formerly Co-Pilot): your music mentoring network

Being mentored can make all the difference. With the right support, navigating your music career becomes easier, with insights, experience and fresh perspectives to guide you.

Soundboard connects songwriters and composers with experienced mentors who understand the journey because they’ve taken it themselves.

Run by Help Musicians in partnership with The Ivors Academy, Soundboard is a dedicated online mentoring network designed to support music creators at every stage of their careers. Applications to join the network as a mentee are open each quarter.

ABRSM Writing for Music Education

ABRSM’s Writing for Music Education is a six-month mentoring programme for emerging and early-career composers interested in writing music for educational settings.

Based in the UK, participants gain access to behind-the-scenes insight, mentoring, and collaboration opportunities with ABRSM and its partners.

The programme is ideal for composers keen to explore writing to a brief and looking to develop their work in education.
