Join The Ivors Academy for a special evening with Academy Fellow and Ivor Novello Award-winning composer John Rutter CBE. John takes the stage with a special talk, “Confessions of a Composer,” focusing on Rutter’s work and the creative process behind it.

John Rutter CBE is one of the most influential choral composers of our time, his music is performed by professional and amateur choirs all over the world.

His music has helped to celebrate landmark occasions in recent history, including the Queens Golden Jubilee, the two most recent royal weddings and the Coronation of King Charles lll last year.

For one special evening we will bring together the classical composing community for an opportunity to be inspired by one of the most acclaimed talents in choral music.

Location
The confessions of a composer event will take place in the Great Hall at the City of London School. The venue is in central London, by the Millenium Bridge and a short walk from Blackfriars train station.

Event Times
Doors will open at 18:30, the event will start at 19:00 followed by a one-hour drinks reception finishing around 21:00.
