The Ivors Academy Global Creators Summit – Supported by PRSfM

A one-day event exploring the challenges and opportunities of AI in music.

On 20th September 2023 The Ivors Academy will host a one day global summit exploring the latest developments in AI and music.

Supported by PRS for Music, the summit will bring together music creators, the music industry and leading voices.  We’ll explore the potential of AI to change the way we create and distribute music, as well as the ethical and legal implications.

Cutting through the hype and getting to the heart of issues, the summit will create a platform for discussion, new ideas and debate on the most fundamental revolution facing music creators for generations.

With industry leaders and acclaimed music creators on panels, themes will include using AI creatively, legal and ethical perspectives, human and machine made music, reporting and metadata.  Delegates will also have the opportunity to meet creative teams and tech companies to understand how AI works on a practical level and the opportunities for songwriters, composers and the music industry. There will be networking throughout the day, which will end with the inaugural Ivors Academy Honours reception. Four exceptional individuals will be celebrated for their advocacy in creating positive change and championing music creators.

Speakers will include:
