The Ivors Academy and The Musicians Union are proud to present a Composer Buyouts panel at Sensoria Pro 2022 – part of the Sensoria Film and Music Festival, taking place in Sheffield on Friday the 7th October 2022.
Featuring Ivors Academy Senator and MU Members, Claire Batchelor, Mat Andasun, Amy Fitzgerald and Mark Gordon, this panel promises to be a lively discussion on the current landscape for media composers and the issues surrounding the increasing numbers of writers being asked for buyouts.
This hot-topic session will look to propose a fair and established way of paying composers for the future.
