The Ivors Composer Awards celebrates the very best in contemporary classical, jazz and sound art that recieved a UK premiere performance, either live or broadcast, between 1 April 2019 and 31 March 2020.
Recognised as a pinnacle of achievement since they were first presented in 1956, an Ivor Novello Award celebrates exceptional craft in music creation and is particularly important to the music industry as it represents peer recognition.
The winners of Ivor Novello Awards across eleven nominated categories as well as the recipient of an Academy Fellowship, Innovation Award and Outstanding Works Collection will be announced by Kate Molleson and Tom Service during an exclusive broadcast only event on BBC Radio 3.
