Join us in-person or online at PRS for Music London for an introduction to Soundmouse, an opportunity to find out more about Soundmouse’s music reporting services to PROs such as PRS, and how they help to ensure all rights holders are paid correctly.
If you are a composer whose music is used in TV, radio, online and other media, you will find this session useful.
Joining online – A zoom link will be send out to you closer to the event date.
Joining in-person – We will see you at PRS for Music, 2 Hays Lane, London, SE1 2HB Please arrive at reception where a member of staff will direct you to the event space.
Soundmouse will explain what they do and how they use music recognition technology to fill any gaps in reporting and enrich distribution information. Soundmouse will also explain how they can help to support composers to ensure royalty distributions are more accurate for Radio and TV usage.
Composers are able to join Soundmouse for free and upload their music to ensure their repertoire is available to broadcasters and collection societies for reporting purposes. This means more accurate distributions for the television and radio stations monitored, and royalties will reflect this.
There will be ample opportunity after the session to meet with Soundmouse, ask questions and network with your fellow composers over a drink.
This event is in person but there will also be an option to join online (link will be forwarded 24 hours in advance).
