Business Insights with PPL – Understanding Performer Rights

Join The Ivors Academy and PPL for the next Business Insights webinar – a series designed to help music creators understand some of the different income streams and to how access them if you are an independent artist, performer or producer.

On 22 September from 16:00 BST George Bacon, Lead Relationship Manager at PPL, will explain:

– What are performer/neighbouring rights
– When royalties are payable
– If you are an eligible rights holder, how to join PPL and to register your work

This will be an opportunity to learn how you might maximise your earnings.

PPL exists to help ensure those who invest their talent, time or money in creating recorded music are paid fairly for the use of their music when it is broadcast or played in public. Membership is free and open to anyone who performs on, or owns the rights to, recorded music.

This event is free to attend, and you must register in advance via Zoom here.
