Since 2003 we have been awarding the creative talent of many of the UK’s finest composers and sound artists. Our awards, which for the last 16 years were known as the British Composer Awards, are presented to showcase and celebrate the vibrant community of contemporary classical music creators. For the first time in the event’s history, winners and recipients will be presented with an Ivor Novello Award – a uniquely authentic and highly respected recognition of craft.
Tickets to attend The Ivors Composer Awards are now available for members of The Ivors Academy and the wider industry. The evening opens with a drinks reception on arrival, followed by the award ceremony where thirteen Ivor Novello Awards will be presented. Tickets include a post-ceremony bowl food and drinks reception for the award winners, nominees, guests and creator community.
The Ivors Composer Awards are sponsored by PRS for Music. The event is in association with BBC Radio 3 providing exclusive broadcast coverage. The coveted Lifetime Achievement award will be presented in association with the Music Publishers Association.
