Attendees will encounter the contemporary landscape of these technologies through a series of discussions taking place at our offices in Borough, London (10:30-18.30) with professional practitioners, industry experts and leading academics. A full schedule of panels, round-tables and networking sessions will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
In the evening, iconic songwriter Nile Rodgers and legendary manager Merck Mercuriadis will share their insights into hit songs and the changing world of music publishing during a live conversation with the Sodajerker on Songwriting podcast team as part of the Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre (19.30-20.30).

You have the option of attending just the morning and afternoon activities at The Ivors Academy, or the full day. Full day tickets will include admission to the evening event at Meltdown, and Meltdown tickets will be provided to you during the course of the day.
Songwriting, Streaming, and Sustainability is the second event in a series created by the Songwriting Studies Research Network, an initiative funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and led by Dr Simon Barber (Birmingham City University) and Dr Mike Jones (University of Liverpool).
