Academy AGM & Summer Party

This year's Annual General Meeting of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (trading as The Ivors Academy of Music Creators), followed by our annual Summer Party, takes place on Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at 93 Feet East in London.

The AGM will include speeches from our Chair and CEO, the formal order of business, and a panel discussion on diversity in music. Three shortlisted songwriters for the ACM Ivors Academy Scholarship will perform at the Summer Party, where the winner will also be announced.

15:00 – Registration and refreshments
15:30 – Formal business
17:00 – Panel discussion: ‘Removing Barriers to Inclusion in Music’
18:30 – Summer Party and ACM student scholarship performances

If you are attending the AGM and would like to ask a question relating to the business of the AGM, you are required to register it in advance by emailing contact@ivorsacademy.com. Questions must be registered by 23:59 the day before the meeting.

How to get to the AGM and Summer Party

By tube: 93 Feet East is closest to Aldgate East Station (10min walk), however easily accessed from Liverpool Street (12min walk) and Shoreditch High Street Overground (6min walk).
By bus: Commercial Street/Worship Street is the best served local stop (routes 8, 26, 35, 47, 48, 78, 135, 149, 205, 242, 388), and is an 8 minute walk away. Folgate Street stop is served by route 67 and is 5 minutes walk away.
By car: The closest car parks are Truman Brewery Car Park Brick Lane (47 Grey Eagle St, E1 6SN) and Grey Eagle Street Car Park (47 Grey Eagle St, E1 6SN) each 4 minutes walk.
