Navigating the music business, as well as the creative, logistical, financial, and emotional pressures that come with being a musician, can make sustaining a career in the industry incredibly challenging.
Join us to explore how you can use your experience in the industry to empower musicians to take the next step in their careers, sharing your skills, knowledge, and expertise through a mentoring relationship.
With plenty of time to ask questions of previous participants, you’ll leave the session full of practical ideas about how mentoring can work for you and the people you want to support.
Who will be speaking at this event?
This session will be hosted by creative coach and expert practitioner, Auriel Majumdar. Artist Mercy Welbeck and mentor Fabiola Morales, who participated in the previous Music Creators Mentoring Programme delivered in partnership with The Ivors Academy, will discuss their experience of the programme, their mentoring relationships and what benefits they gained from the opportunity.
