The Ivors Academy Honours

The Ivors Academy Honours celebrates the trailblazers, innovators and advocates who champion songwriters and composers.

They pay tribute to those making a lasting impact to support a thriving songwriter and composer community. The awards recognise music executives and creators who are setting higher standards and driving best practice across the sector.

Save the date, The Ivors Academy Honours returns on Thursday 1 October 2026 at the InterContinental London, Park Lane. Tickets go on sale in May.

Last year’s honourees were RAYE, Kae Tempest, Virgin Group Founder Sir Richard Branson, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Publishing Jon Platt, CEO and Founder of the MOBO Group Kanya King CBE, Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade Sir Chris Bryant MP, Founder of Manners McDade Catherine Manners and John Sweeney (1959 – 2025).
