The event, in partnership with the Ivors Academy, returns to the London Palladium for a spectacular evening celebrating some of the world’s greatest songwriters. It raises money for three music charities – The Ivors Academy Trust, The BRIT School and Nordoff & Robbins.
The sold-out event was made possible thanks to its sponsorship partners, who understood how vital it is to support grass-roots music development, by supporting The BRIT School and The Ivors Academy Trust, as well as the life-changing music therapy charity, Nordoff & Robbins, who do astonishing work in communities and use music to transform families lives.
The show will feature a star studded lineup – including Bernie Taupin, Max Richter, Tom Odell, Gabriels, Celeste, KAMILLE, Pete Bellotte, Jin Jin, Toby Gad, Dyo, Cian Ducrot, Infinity Song and Sam Wilkinson.
The Other Songs Live celebrates the most distinguished living songwriters, offering unparalleled access to both legendary and emerging talent. The audience can expect a combination of performances, interviews, and storytelling, bringing them ‘backstage’ as The Other Songs delves into the origins of some of the greatest songs ever written. The show takes place on 20th May during Ivors Week – an appreciation of songwriters and their craft building up to the iconic awards show, The Ivors with Amazon Music, on 23rd May.
