Kevin Brennan MP, with Ivors Academy Honour trophy

Ivors Academy Honours celebrate exceptional individuals who create positive change and champion songwriters and composers. By awarding Honours, the Ivors Academy pays tribute to the innovators and the leaders who advocate for a thriving songwriter and composer community.

Nominations

We are inviting nominations to recognise exceptional individuals at the Ivors Academy Honours on Thursday 2nd October 2025, at the InterContinental London Park Lane.

Nominations close at 5pm, Friday 25th April.

Nominees can come from any background including industry professionals, songwriters and composers, artists, broadcasters, creative and cultural leaders, politicians and more. What matters is their genuine commitment to championing songwriters and composers.

It’s free to nominate and anyone can submit a nomination for consideration by The Ivors Academy’s Board. Each person can nominate one individual per year.

Tickets

Tickets are also on sale for the awards ceremony at the InterContinental London Park Lane on Thursday 2nd October. They are available to purchase by companies or individuals working in the UK music industry.

Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, a three-course dinner, and an exclusive awards ceremony, bringing together 500 guests, including industry leaders and Ivors Academy members.

Professional members of The Ivors Academy receive an exclusive 50% discount on individual tickets.
