The Friends scheme is for anyone, anywhere, who wants to support songwriters and composers without being a writer themselves. We all benefit from the life-enhancing music that songwriters and composers create, yet their value and the importance of their work are often underappreciated.

What are the benefits?

Who is it for? 

The scheme is for supporters of songwriters and composers who are not writers themselves, anywhere in the world.

How much does it cost?

£50 a year when you sign up with Direct Debit.

Please note, only Early Career, Standard and Professional members have access to voting rights, the ability to stand for election or be on Councils and the Academy’s member benefits. If you are a songwriter or composer, become a member of The Ivors Academy.
