Anne Dudley, one of the most versatile and visionary composers, sits down with fellow composer Dru Master, to explore her artistic journey and career.

With a vibrant discography that spans soundtrack, pop and classical, Anne is an Oscar, GRAMMY, BRIT and Ivor Novello Award winner, and the 33rd Fellow of The Ivors Academy.

She is a founding member of the pioneering electronic group Art of Noise and an acclaimed arranger, producer and composer. Her career spans iconic pop collaborations, including work with ABC, Will Young, Jeff Beck, Seal, Pet Shop Boys and Robbie Williams, alongside award-winning film and TV scores such as The Full Monty, Poldark, American History X and Les Misérables. A distinguished classical composer, she has written orchestral, chamber and operatic works, collaborated with leading artists across disciplines, and has been recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Music with an honorary doctorate in Music.

  • Dru Masters

Dru Masters is an award-winning composer whose work spans drama, film, factual, and comedy. He scored the BAFTA-winning Damilola, Our Loved Boy, for which he received the RTS Award for Best Score, and his credits include Silk, Capital, A Touch of Cloth, and the feature films Jump, Finding Camille, and The Library Suicides. His factual and comedy work includes Taskmaster, The Trial, and The Apprentice. Dru serves as a Board Director of The Ivors Academy and as Chair of the academy's Media Council. He is currently scoring a documentary on Wham!’s 1985 China tour, collaborating with Andrew Ridgeley on the soundtrack.

Anne Dudley, one of the UK’s most distinguished musical figures and a recently appointed Fellow of The Ivors Academy, is an Oscar‑winning composer, musician, arranger, and producer whose work spans pop, classical, and film. A graduate of the Royal College of Music and founding member of the pioneering Art of Noise, she helped shape modern electronic music. Her credits include The Full Monty, The Crying Game, American History X, Poldark, and Elle, alongside acclaimed work with major artists and celebrated solo releases that showcase her distinctive musical voice.
