It is designed to give music creators the foundational knowledge they need to make informed decisions and build sustainable careers.

The Toolkit has been developed by The Ivors Academy in collaboration with working songwriters, composers and global music industry experts, including members of the Academy’s Board, Senate and Councils. It reflects the real-world experience and practical challenges that creators face in navigating the music industry.
It is available through the Ivors Academy Member Portal at no cost. Songwriters and composers aged 18 or over, anywhere in the world, can join the Academy for free as a Discovery member and gain immediate access.
