The Ivors Academy Honours celebrates the trailblazers, innovators and advocates who champion songwriters and composers. They pay tribute to those making a lasting impact to support a thriving songwriter and composer community. The awards recognise music executives and creators who are setting higher standards and driving best practice across the sector.
On 2 October 2025 The Ivors Academy will honour RAYE, Kae Tempest, Virgin Group Founder Sir Richard Branson, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Publishing Jon Platt, CEO and Founder of the MOBO Group Kanya King CBE, Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade Sir Chris Bryant MP, Founder of Manners McDade Catherine Manners and John Sweeney (1959 – 2025).
The Ivors Academy Honours 2025 are supported by ASCAP, IMRO, MCPS, the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA), PPL, PRS for Music, Royalty Access Studio, Sentric Music, SESAC Music Group and TikTok.
The awards ceremony on 2 October will bring together acclaimed songwriters and composers, music industry leaders and members of The Ivors Academy.
Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, a three-course dinner and an exclusive awards ceremony at the InterContinental London Park Lane in Mayfair.
