Debbie Wiseman OBE, one of the UK's most celebrated and prolific composers, reflects on a remarkable career spanning film, television and concert music.
With over 200 screen credits and five consecutive number one albums in the UK Classical Chart, Debbie is a two-time RTS Award winner, Grammy nominee, and recipient of the 2025 Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to Screen Composition. Her work ranges from the sweeping drama of Wolf Hall and Judge John Deed to composing for landmark royal occasions including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Windsor, and the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Classic FM's Composer in Residence, she was also voted the most popular living composer in Classic FM's Hall of Fame 2022.
